Me...

I have been interested in photography since leaving high school but the funny thing is even though it was a subject for study at school I had no interest at that point. My interest was sparked while browsing a store for a compact to take on holiday when i bumped into someone i knew selling a Pentax P30 SLR. Sure an SLR was bigger than a compact however it’s a lot more fun to use as there are a lot more bells and whistles to play with… After taking some random shots to test the camera and being stunned by the results, the photography bug had bitten.

I spent a lot of money on film :) Well I was learning I kept telling myself... and here I am 20 years on still learning. The difference today is that there’s no rush to the lab to hand over what I thought were my masterpiece of visions on film only to find most of the images were useless. Now armed with a digital camera the results are immediate and I get a great feeling from seeing the image on the LCD display screen is just as exciting 20 years on as it was when I received the print back from the lab.

I hope you enjoy browsing my website and thank you for looking ...If you like these images you may like to visit my Flickr gallery.
